Warszawskie ZOO

Warsaw Zoo, opened in 1928, is located in the Praga-Północ district and covers some 40 hectares. It is home to more than 12,000 animals representing around 500 species, many of which are included in conservation programmes. The zoo plays an important role in environmental education and conservation, offering a variety of attractions for visitors. Residents include rhinos, hippos and chimpanzees. This place combines entertainment with a mission of biodiversity conservation and public education.
